The North of England Mule is a cross-bred sheep sired by the Bluefaced Leicester ram with either a Swaledale or Northumberland type Blackface dam. They are popular due to their ability to thrive in many areas, being easy to keep and live a long life.
The Mule ewes are known for being good mums and the flock have been said to be easy to shepherd.
