It is with great sadness that we write this to let you know that Viridor
(our 10 year old Suffolk Punch Horse) had to be put to sleep yesterday
afternoon. It all happened very quickly. He suddenly showed signs of
colic at about 3pm. We called the vet straight away and when she got
here she diagnosed a twisted colon. He was in a lot of pain and getting
worse, there was nothing the vet could do for him. Belle was with him
all the time which seemed to comfort him. Poor Belle will need a lot of
love and attention having been through this already with Bernard.
