Here is the daily activity timetable – so much to do!
11.00am – Meet the Rabbits & Guinea Pigs – learn a little more about them
11.30pm – Target Practice – is your aim straight & true – by Pig Alley
12.00pm – Story-time in the Castle – sit & listen to a tale– in the Castle
12.30pm – Storm the Castle! – are you brave enough to beat the sheriff?
1.30pm – Merry Men Training Camp – will you make the grade? – meet by the football pitch
2.00pm – Take from the rich and give to the poor – can you stop the cart as it takes the “safe” passage through Nottingham Forest?
2.30pm – Wild boar racing – meet in the pig racing field followed by the Fancy Dress Competition ( from 19th October – 27th October)
3.00pm – Friar Tuck and his owl “Hoot” will teach you all about how the Merry Men survived in the forest and what they ate – in the Castle ( Monday 21st October – Friday 25th October only)
3.00pm – Meet the Goats & Sheep – learn a little more about them
3.30pm – Pig feeding Time – meet by the big pigs in pig alley
4.00pm – Meet the Rabbits & Guinea Pigs – learn a little more about them
Tractor Rides – Around the paddocks, Monday 14th October – Friday 18th October 12pm. 2pm & 3.30pm – £1.00 per person for everyone aged 1 or over – Meet at the gate next to the straw barn . ** From Saturday 19th October – Sunday 27th October, tractor rides will run every hour on the hour from 11am – 4pm.
Merry Men Mystery Trail – Who lives and works in the village near Sherwood Forest? Can you find all the pictures hidden around the Farm? Return to the shop to collect a prize.
Get Crafty – FREE – Make a hat for Robin Hood or a bonnet for Maid Marian – in the Ed Room, 11am – 4pm – Monday 21st October – Friday 25th October incl.
Church Wood Walks – A peaceful haven away from the hustle & bustle – pick up a map and guide from the main till for a £1.00 refundable deposit.
Donkey Treks – £5.00 each – donkey & weather permitting – ask at the front desk for details
