| Nature Walks
Join our Gamekeeper on a fascinating guided nature walk
around part of the Stow Estate. He will amaze you with his foresight and
knowledge of the countryside. Learn about the native species of birds,
animals, insects and much much more.
These walks run twice a week, on Wednesday and Sunday
afternoons at 2pm. If you would like a guided nature walk at any other
time you may pre-book by telephoning the office on 01366 382162. Everyone of all ages are welcome.
There will also be some special walks throughout the
season including:
- Birds
- Trees and wild plants
- Insects
- Building nesting boxes and putting them up
- Dawn Chorus Walk (5.30am, Sunday 4th May)
- Primroses and Bluebells
- Looking for Dragonflies and Darters
- Bat watching
- Deer Watching
Details can be obtained by telephone or at the farm.
If there is a particular area of nature that you or a
group are interested in please let us know and we will arrange something
to fit.
Or you may be a school studying a particular project,
