Events New for 2009
We are building a wonderful new
indoor play area, which will be ready (fingers crossed) for when we open on 7th March 2009. This new area will mean that we will be open all year round, enabling you to enjoy Church Farm whatever the weather throws at us!
Spring Opening
at Church Farm Stow Bardolph

Daily 10am to 5pm
A wide variety of rare breed animals and their young; also tractor
rides, nature walks, an exciting adventure playground, and new for 2009,
the “Treehouse” indoor play area. T he Tea Room serves homemade lunches
and cakes. Lovely gift shop attached.

Nature Walks
Wednesdays and Sundays (March to October)
Join our Gamekeeper on a fascinating guided nature walk around part
of the Stow Estate. He will amaze you with his insight and knowledge
of the countryside. Learn about the native species of birds, animals,
insects and much much more.
Lambing
Mid-March to Mid-May
Lambing at Church Farm Stow Bardolph Rare Breeds Centre usually
happens between mid March and mid May. These dates are approximate, so
please call ahead if you want to check that we do have lambs at the
Centre.
Easter Fortnight
at Church Farm Stow Bardolph
4th April to 18th April 2009
Daily 10am to 5pm
Lambing Season is in full swing, come and see the rare breed sheep and
their young at close quarters. There will also be an Easter Quiz (one
for the Under 6s, and one for 6 and overs).

Pony Rides for Charity
at Church Farm
July and August 2009
The Riding for the Disabled Association, whose local group is based at
Wallington Hall, less than half a mile from Church Farm, will be
bringing their ponies to Church Farm and offering pony rides on the
following dates:
Monday 20th July, Thursday 23rd July, Monday 27th July, Monday 3rd
August, Friday 7th August
at the following times: 10.30am to 12.30, 1.30pm to 3pm
A pony ride will cost £2.50; absolutely all proceeds will be going to
the Riding for the Disabled Association.
Church Farm is delighted to be hosting this most worthwhile cause.

Halloween Half Term

Christmas at

Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday during December, also 21st,
22nd and 23rd December 2009.
Daily 10am to 5pm
Visit Father Christmas in his Church Farm retreat (no booking
necessary). Church Farm Tea Room is open as usual for homemade
lunches and cakes. The shop stocks an exciting range of Christmas
gifts for all ages, including stocking fillers and seasonal decorations
– everything you could want for a Merry Christmas!
